The work, from the Nazi dictator’s early days attempting to ascertain himself as an artist, did not promote within the German metropolis of Nuremberg, presumably over fears they might be faux.

No bids have been obtained on the work, which had beginning costs of between €19,000 (£16,600) and €45,000 (£39,300), in line with The Nuremberger Nachrichten newspaper.
